Internal anti-corruption programme principles
The principles of the internal anti-corruption programme of the Military Research Institute are defined in the directive entitled Anti-Corruption Programme.
This is based on the fundamental attribute of an environment, in which corrupt behaviour is rejected and in which the protection of state property is emphasised.
The main attributes for creating an anti-corruption environment are:
- Education,
- Strengthening and guiding the moral principles of employees,
- Active promotion of ethical principles,
- Setting up a credible mechanism for reporting suspected corrupt behaviour.
Based on the requirements of the Directive, an Employee Code of Conduct has been developed based on the purposeful and continuous promotion of honest and ethical conduct and behaviour.
One of the objectives of anti-corruption behaviour of employees is transparency of all their activities.
Transparency enables, among other things, public scrutiny of the management of state property, which is carried out both by the company’s employees and the public.
This increases the likelihood of corruption being detected and also discourages corrupt behaviour.
The Military Research Institute also publishes mandatory information in accordance with the applicable legislation, in particular under Act 106/1999 Coll., on free access to information.
The Military Research Institute has identified corruption risks and effective control mechanisms and monitoring of the situation are in place.
The anti-corruption programme adopted by the Military Research Institute is regularly evaluated by the anti-corruption committee.
